- Bray Wyatt def. Daniel Bryan via Pinfall
Great match. I was actually scared for a moment when Bryan took a serious clothesline from Wyatt. I had to remind myself for a moment that Bryan is one hell of a seller. Kane is starting to build a nice collection of matches he’s interrupted. Bryan has enough momentum to take the loss and Wyatt look good, so I didn’t mind the finish as much.
- Dean Ambrose def. Bad News Barrett via Pinfall
Dean Ambrose needed a high profile win after his feud with Wyatt. Didn’t hurt that it was a pretty good match either. There were a lot of great moments and segments between this match and Bray vs Bryan, so it started a little late in the second hour. Despite that, the show has been pretty good.
- New Day def. Tyson Kidd and Cesaro via Pinfall
I like the fact that New Day had microphones this time. They could benefit from speaking a little more and getting the crowd involved. Cesaro and Kidd need to separate. I know they have some pretty cool moves together and look like a legit team, but they were already gaining a losing streak as singles wrestlers. It seems like WWE is determined to give them one as a tag team.
- Paige and Natalya def. Summer Rae and Alicia Fox via Submission
Just Paige and Natalya looking good for their feud with the Bellas. I wish the Divas had a tag team division, or any reason to justify two random chicks teaming up to face two friends without it seeming like a match to put the two friends over. I know the Divas division has become just an in ring advertisement for Total Divas, but I like to pretend that the matches still matter.
- Rusev def. R-Truth via Submission
It was nice of Rusev to let R-Truth finish his song and promo before crushing him. He has good manners at least.
- Jay Uso def. The Miz via Pinfall
Decent match. Nothing special about it, but decent.
- John Cena def. Big Show, Seth Rollins, and Kane via
Great match with an awesome finish! John came out of it really looking like a hero.
What a great way to set up for the Royal Rumble!! The NWO, New Age Outlaws, APA, Brock Lesnar, Shawn Michaels, Rick Flair, and Sting! I think the most memorable moment for me, besides Sting of course, was when Triple H ran in to the NWO and Shawn Michaels. I feel like like Hunter broke character and showed a few genuine moments then. From Roman Reigns saving Rick Flair, JBL still having one hell of a lariat, to The Beast dominating the ending of the show, it was a killer night.
