I know I’m late to the party, but I’ve recently watched Lucha Underground for the very first time and instantly fell in love with it. I’ve been searching for something to review other than WWE and NXT for a while now. I don’t have Destination America and can’t find decent enough You Tube streams of TNA, and I’ve been hit and miss with Ring of Honor. And to be honest, both wrestling programs haven’t exactly held my attention when viewing long enough to want to start reviewing them weekly. So that leaves New Japan Pro-Wrestling and Lucha Underground, so I’ve decided to give the latter a try first.

Lucha Underground grabs you with its storytelling and presentation alone, but everything is topped off perfectly with some of the best wrestling you will ever see on TV. If you’ve been a fan from the beginning, then sorry I’m just barely catching up. But if you haven’t enjoyed the only wrestling to actually have a chance as a solid alternative to WWE, then it is definitely worth a look. I’m going to try to watch all I’ve missed so far to play catch up before I start reviewing the show, but I posted the episode that made me a fan down below. The premiere of Alberto El Patron!
