- Tyler Breeze def. Adam Rose via Pinfall
It seems like Adam Rose is in a bad place in his career. He’s starting to lose matches on the main roster and in NXT. He is desperately in need of a new gimmick. The match itself was more show boating than actual wrestling. But the highlight of it was watching Breeze fan away Adam’s entourage with his selfie stick.
- Buddy Murphy and Wesley Blake def. Angelo Dawkins and Sawyer Fulton via Pinfall
The tag team champs basically destroyed the competition and ended the match with an impressive splash off the top rope from long distance. I’d like to see these two called up pretty soon. They could give The Usos a run for their money.
- Baron Corbin def. Tony Briggs via Pinfall
Corbin did what he is best at and ran through his opponent like nothing. Aside from the match being a usual squash for him, he hit a really sick End of Days considering the size of Briggs.
- Solomon Crowe def. Bull Dempsey via Pinfall
I’ll admit that I’m not familiar with Crowe from the indies. My only experience with him has been NXT so far. And I can honestly say that I wasn’t impressed with his performance. The ending to the match was weak and lacked any kind of impact. His gimmick may be cool, but his in ring work leaves a lot to be desired.
- Sasha Banks def. Charlotte via Pinfall
While the main roster is begging WWE to give Divas a chance, NXT headlined their night with a Divas match that was probably the highlight of the show. Sasha and Charlotte continued their rivalry and ended the match with Banks stealing the win over the former Divas champion.
With Sami Zayn cutting a video promo and Emma showing signs of a character change, this episode was an improvement from last week. You can feel the lack of star power throughout the episode. But despite that, the episode was better than last week but not up to the caliber of previous shows. Watchable enough to avoid being awful.
