The Results

  • Tyler Breeze def. Adam Rose via Pinfall

Adam Rose showed a lot of aggressiveness, but still came up short in the end. One noticeable thing was the fact that the Rose Buds did not accompany him to the ring this time. I’m not sure if that was a sign of WWE giving up on him, or an indication that Rose may become a full blown heel soon.

  • Alexa Bliss def. Carmella via Pinfall

A good match for the time given to it. The match simply continued to push the feud between Carmella, Enzo, and Cass against Blake, Murphy, and Alexa Bliss.

  • The Vaudevillains def. Jason Jordan and Marcus Louis via Pinfall

The Vaudevillains made their return and scored a win over Jordan and Marcus. The match was decent, but Marcus Louis stood out the most with his intensity and psychotic scowl and mannerisms. With proper development, I can see him going places in the future.

  • Finn Balor def Rhyno via Pinfall

The match ended with a roll up before Rhyno hit Balor with a vicious Gore. The ending set up a promising feud between The Man-beast and The Demon.

While not as impressive as weeks before, this episode of NXT held their consistent tone as best as possible. The matches just seemed off for some reason. There was a lack of enthusiasm throughout the show. They can’t all be major winners, but the episode did deliver enough entertaining action inside the ring to give it a passing grade.
